Position Overview:
The Finance Manager will oversee financial management, reporting, and logistics for EAI’s offices in Baidoa and Xudur, supporting the Area Manager and reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration. Key responsibilities include budget tracking, financial reporting, procurement, and partner management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Track budgets, review timesheets and contracts, and ensure timely financial reporting.
  • Sub-Award Oversight: Monitor subcontractor costs, review reports, and build partner capacity.
  • Budgeting: Align budgets with workplans and ensure compliance with donor regulations.
  • Procurement & Logistics: Manage logistics, including travel, training venues, and participant payments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (MA/MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of financial management experience with USAID/USG funding.
  • CPA/CA/CIMA/ACCA certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks, Intacct, and IPSAS.
  • Somali citizenship and fluency in English.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
